AXIAN Telecom adopts Yas Group as its official corporate identity to unite its mobile, tower, and money app services across Africa.
AXIAN Telecom has officially changed its corporate name to Yas Group. The official announcement of this new business identity was made public on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
This important change marks the complete unification of the group’s operations, bringing all its mobile phone networks, internet tower infrastructure, and mobile money services under one shared corporate name across the continent.
The corporate name change covers all the company’s operating markets across Africa, including key countries such as Madagascar, Senegal, Togo, Tanzania, and Comoros.
Following an earlier move in 2024 to rename its local mobile phone networks to Yas and its mobile financial app services to Mixx by Yas, this newest change updates the main parent company’s corporate name so that investors, business partners, and customers interact with one single brand name.
The main reason why company directors adopted the Yas Group name at the corporate level is to streamline business management and build a stronger pan-African brand presence.
Under this new structure, the business operates across three primary divisions: traditional mobile network services, digital infrastructure like fiber cables and tower masts, and digital financial services.
By operating under one simple name, the firm can pool financial resources more easily, reduce management overhead costs, and expand its mobile and internet coverage into new African countries faster.
This corporate name change comes after two years of steady financial growth, during which the firm connected tens of millions of subscribers to high speed mobile internet and mobile banking services.

Company leaders noted that presenting a single identity makes it easier to secure investment funds for building extra cell towers, installing subsea internet cables, and offering cheaper smartphone package deals to everyday African citizens.
Explaining the long term vision behind changing the company’s parent name to match its consumer brands, Group Chief Executive Officer Hassan Jaber stated, “When we united our mobile operators under Yas in 2024, the aim was a brand capable of carrying this business at continental scale. Two years of independent recognition confirm that it can. Adopting Yas Group at the corporate level gives our shareholders and partners a single identity to hold us to as we invest in the next phase of growth across Africa.”
This strategic corporate update marks an exciting era for mobile phone users, small business traders, and technology users across the continent.
As Yas Group unifies its business operations, everyday customers can expect more reliable network connections, faster mobile money transfers, and cheaper digital services across all member countries.
