Data cloud giant Snowflake has officially launched its Snowflake for Startups programme in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to accelerate artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven innovation.
Global AI Data Cloud company Snowflake has officially launched its “Snowflake for Startups” programme in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The initiative is designed to serve as a launchpad for local tech founders, giving them access to tools, funding and resources to build and scale enterprise-grade artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
The launch aligns with the “We the UAE 2031” national vision, which aims to establish the country as a leading global economic hub powered by technology and innovation.
With AI adoption reaching around 84% among regional businesses, local entrepreneurs are increasingly building products meant to compete on a global scale from day one. Snowflake’s new initiative provides these startups with the same high-level secure data foundation used by major global corporations.
The programme lowers technical barriers for young companies, allowing them to test and launch AI features without spending heavy resources on managing complex backend systems. Key benefits provided to participating startups include technology infrastructure such as free credits, developer tools and unified APIs that allow startups to easily switch between top AI models.
The initiative also provides market access by offering direct visibility to over 12,600 prospective business clients through the global Snowflake Marketplace, alongside mentorship and investment opportunities that include technical guidance, sales support and potential venture capital funding through Snowflake Ventures and partner investment firms.
Local businesses are already utilizing the underlying technology to improve operations.
