STC Bahrain joins hands with Cohesity to build a strong national system that backs up and protects computer records.
A major phone and internet company in Bahrain named STC Bahrain has joined hands with global technology firm Cohesity to protect big business and government records.
The official announcement about this business partnership was made on Monday, September 7, 2026. Under this new deal, both companies will build a special national backup system that saves copies of important computer records and brings them back quickly if a company suffers a cyber attack or system crash.
The project is taking place inside the Kingdom of Bahrain, where thousands of businesses, banks, and public offices rely daily on digital tools to serve citizens.
By using Cohesity’s modern computer storage systems directly within STC Bahrain’s local data houses, important files will stay inside the country while receiving top level protection.
This means if a hospital, bank, or government office loses its files today, the new system can restore everything within a short time.
The decision was made because cyber thieves are increasingly trying to hack computer systems, steal private files, or lock company records using ransom software.
When a company’s main computer crashes or gets attacked without a proper copy saved somewhere safe, operations can freeze for days or weeks.
To stop this problem, STC Bahrain and Cohesity decided to build a safe recovery plan that helps companies bounce back without losing important customer details or heavy cash.
Through this smart setup, local businesses will no longer need to spend huge amounts of money buying expensive hardware to save their files.
Instead, they can simply subscribe to the national backup service and let experts handle the copy and restoration process safely.
The system uses smart tools that check for virus attacks automatically, making sure bad files do not spoil the clean copies saved in the computer vault.
Speaking on the big plan to protect local business information, leadership at the telecommunication company stated, “Partnering with Cohesity allows us to deliver a comprehensive, enterprise-grade data protection and disaster recovery solution directly to organizations in Bahrain. Our goal is to ensure national data resilience so that critical services can operate smoothly without fear of data loss or system downtime.”

Representatives from the partner technology company added, “We are thrilled to join forces with STC Bahrain to safeguard critical data assets. Our joint solution provides simplified management, rapid recovery, and unmatched security, helping businesses stay strong against cyber threats.”
This modern safety step supports the Kingdom’s larger goal to build a strong digital economy that operates without costly interruptions.
As more companies sign up for this national backup service, citizens and business owners can rest assured that their private details and online transactions remain fully protected against unexpected computer crashes and hacker attacks.
