Enterprise data company Cloudera has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi technology provider Muroon to accelerate the adoption of enterprise data management and artificial intelligence infrastructure across Saudi Arabia.
The strategic agreement establishes a collaborative framework between Cloudera and Muroon to deliver high-performance data processing tools, hybrid cloud infrastructure and enterprise artificial intelligence capabilities to public-sector agencies and large corporate enterprises across the Kingdom.
A primary objective of the partnership is enabling local organizations to organize, manage and analyze massive volumes of complex data stored across on-premises servers and public cloud platforms.
Through Cloudera’s hybrid data platform and Muroon’s local system integration expertise, Saudi businesses can consolidate fragmented data sources into a unified, secure architecture.
By maintaining strict data governance, security protocols, and regulatory compliance within domestic borders, the partnership supports Saudi Arabia’s national data sovereignty requirements while providing clean datasets necessary to train, fine-tune and deploy custom artificial intelligence models.
