Dangote Refinery reports a $4.73 billion net profit as total sales double ahead of its extended share offer deadline.

Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has reported a massive net profit of  $4.73 billion for the first 9 months of 2026.

The official financial performance breakdown was released to global stock markets on October 13, 2026, showcasing a complete financial recovery from the $117 million loss recorded during the same period in 2025.

Under the latest financial report, the massive refining facility located in the Lekki Free Trade Zone in Lagos generated $22.5 billion in total revenue between January and September 2026.

This rapid surge in sales comes as the facility reaches full operational processing capacity, producing millions of liters of petrol, diesel, and aviation fuel every day for local consumers and export markets across West Africa.

The impressive financial report arrives just as the company extends its historic public share sale deadline to October 27, 2026, giving regular citizens, small business owners, and large investment funds extra time to buy company shares.

Achieving multi billion dollar profits is very important for everyday citizens, local bus drivers, and market traders across Nigeria and neighboring African countries.

For decades, African nations spent billions of foreign dollars importing refined fuel from overseas factories, leaving local gas stations vulnerable to sudden fuel shortages and high transport costs.

When a local refinery operates at full capacity, it ensures a steady supply of petrol and diesel to power commercial buses, market generators, and local factories.

Furthermore, because the company is selling shares to regular citizens, everyday workers can buy company shares and earn personal income as the factory grows.

Explaining how boosting daily crude oil refining brought immediate financial strength and turned previous losses into massive profits, company leadership highlighted operational reliability as the main reason for the turnaround.

Corporate updates from the refinery noted that “the corporation attributed the turnaround in earnings and improvement in other key performance metrics to higher refining throughput, improved operational reliability and more robust refining margins”.

Highlighting how strong profit numbers build deep trust among regular citizens preparing to buy company shares before the new deadline closes, financial experts described the report as a big win for African enterprise.

Stock market monitors reviewing the official figures noted that “the refinery’s unaudited financial results, released today, October 13, highlight a significant growth trajectory, showcasing its financial resilience and strategic positioning in the market”.

Investor demand for the share offer remains extremely high. As the extended share buying window ticks down toward October 27, thousands of new African investors are completing bank transfers to buy shares in one of the most profitable industrial plants on the continent.
