PiggyVest launches new Kids, Joint, and Business savings accounts alongside a redesigned app to help Nigerian families and companies manage money.
PiggyVest has launched new account types for children, couples, and small businesses, along with a complete makeover of its mobile app.
The company officially revealed the products on September 27, 2026, during its annual OpenHouse event, marking ten years of operation in Nigeria.
The new product package includes PiggyVest Kids, PiggyVest Joint Accounts, PiggyVest Business, and a smart salary manager tool.
These new features allow parents to set up early savings for their young children, allow married couples and friends to save money together for big projects, and give small business owners specialized accounts to handle daily company spending.
PiggyVest also updated its main phone app to make saving, investing, and moving money much easier and faster for over six million users across the country.
By adding these special accounts, PiggyVest aims to help every Nigerian family build long-term wealth together instead of keeping money only in individual personal savings.
In many Nigerian homes, parents want to save for school fees and children’s futures, while couples and business partners want a safe, transparent platform to hold shared funds.
These new tools make it simple for families and business owners to manage money together without fear or confusion.
Explaining the big vision behind creating accounts for every stage of a person’s life, Odunayo Eweniyi, who is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of PiggyVest, shared why expanding beyond individual savings matters so much.
She explained that the company is building features designed to help “Nigerians navigate their financial journeys in a more personalised and supportive way,” ensuring that adults, children, and business owners all find tools that fit their daily needs.

Adding to the long-term vision of the company as it enters its second decade, Joshua Chibueze, who serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer at PiggyVest, emphasized the goal of growing with their customers over time.
He noted that these new products were built to support users as their personal lives, family obligations, and business efforts expand across different years.
This expansion moves PiggyVest far beyond its humble origins as a basic online piggy bank created in 2016.
By combining child savings, shared group wallets, business accounts, and salary planning tools into one simple platform, PiggyVest is positioning itself as a complete financial partner for millions of African households looking to secure their financial future.
