Dell Technologies has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Tahaluf to integrate advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions and secure data management infrastructure into smart city developments across the United Arab Emirates.
Dell Technologies has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Abu Dhabi-based technology provider Tahaluf Al Emarat Technical Solutions to develop artificial intelligence-powered solutions designed to enhance urban management, public safety and government services across the United Arab Emirates.
The partnership combines Dell’s advanced AI and edge computing capabilities with Tahaluf’s specialized in-vehicle technology platform. By processing operational data directly on moving vehicles and local devices rather than relying entirely on remote cloud servers, the system enables real-time data analysis and faster decision-making for municipal authorities.
The collaborative initiative integrates intelligent processing capabilities into everyday urban environments, allowing municipal fleets and service vehicles to monitor infrastructure conditions while on the move.
By bringing data processing closer to where information is captured, city operators can achieve faster visibility over large urban areas. This technological setup helps authorities quickly identify and address road maintenance issues, manage parking regulations, and respond more efficiently to public safety events. For residents, these improvements translate into safer neighborhoods, better-maintained public spaces and more responsive city services.
Highlighting the vision behind the collaboration Walid Yehia Managing Director for the South Gulf region at Dell Technologies noted that
“AI is creating new opportunities for cities to become more responsive to the people and communities they serve. Our work with Tahaluf brings intelligent capabilities into everyday urban environments, helping organizations identify issues sooner, make informed decisions and enhance the services residents rely on. This is another example of how technology can support the UAE’s ambition to build smarter, more connected cities and deliver meaningful benefits to communities.”
Dr. Ahmed Musabbeh Al Kaabi, CEO of Tahaluf also highlighted on how the technology directly improves city management saying that
“Our collaboration with Dell Technologies is focused on turning everyday journeys into actionable insight that can help improve how cities are managed. By combining AI with existing fleet vehicles, service providers can gain greater visibility across their communities and respond effectively to infrastructure, parking and public safety needs. We see this as an important step toward creating smarter, safer and more efficient urban experiences across the UAE.”
