Nclude, Egypt’s premier fintech-focused venture capital platform, has successfully unlocked $112 million in capital to back high-growth fintech and artificial intelligence (AI) startups across the African continent.

Egypt-founded venture capital fund Nclude has successfully closed its final fundraising round at more than $112 million, marking a major milestone for the technology and startup ecosystem across Africa and the Middle East.

Advised by DPI Venture Capital the venture arm of Development Partners International the substantial war chest is targeted at backing high-growth companies that are transforming how people access financial services, use digital banking and integrate artificial intelligence.

Launched to bridge the funding gap for ambitious entrepreneurs, the Nclude fund focuses primarily on financial technology (fintech) financial inclusion platforms and companies leveraging artificial intelligence to streamline operations.

Rather than focusing purely on early-stage experiments, the fund is structured to provide substantial financial muscle deploying anywhere from $500,000 to $10 million per company. This backing spans across various growth stages, from seed funding up to Series C rounds, helping promising startups scale from local successes into major regional tech players.

A standout aspect of this multi-million dollar milestone is its foundation of homegrown support. Approximately 93% of the capital raised for the fund comes directly from African financial institutions and investors. This highlights a powerful shift toward regional self-reliance, proving that local institutions are increasingly stepping up to finance the next wave of home-grown technological innovation rather than relying entirely on overseas venture capital.

While Egypt remains the primary anchor market for the fund, its mandate allows up to 30% of its capital to be deployed across the broader African continent and the Middle East. With 15 innovative businesses already in its portfolio spanning alternative lending, digital real estate finance and automated business funding Nclude is well-positioned to accelerate the digital economic transformation reshaping the region.
