Zoho has upgraded its advanced analytics platform to introduce cutting-edge “Agentic AI” capabilities for businesses.
Global technology leader Zoho Corp has announced a major evolution of its business reporting tool, Zoho Analytics transforming it into an advanced “Agentic Analytics” platform.
Moving far beyond traditional static dashboards and reporting, the updated platform acts as a trusted intelligence layer designed to give artificial intelligence agents the precise context they need to understand complex corporate data and take real-world business actions.
As businesses rapidly adopt artificial intelligence, a primary roadblock has been the lack of contextual understanding. Traditional AI models often struggle to grasp unique corporate terminology, specialized departmental relationships and internal governance rules. Zoho’s new native architecture solves this by embedding business context directly into the analytics core, eliminating the need for disconnected external data warehouses.
Hyther Nizam the Chief Executive Officer of Zoho Middle East and Africa (MEA) explained the vision behind the upgrade by saying
“We are at the beginning of the next leap forward in data analytics, where a strong data foundation is the starting point for all agentic activity in business operations. Agents, however cannot function only with data but require a robust intelligence layer. Today’s updates to Zoho Analytics provide that and more: one open and extensible trusted intelligence layer that gives every AI tool in your business the context, metrics and governance to deliver answers users can rely on.”

The newly enhanced Zoho Analytics relies on several core architectural innovations to help companies transition smoothly from data to automated decisions. These include semantic and ontology layers that function as a business glossary, defining key terms, metrics and relationships across department such as finance versus operations so that AI tools interpret data accurately, alongside the Ask Zia super-agent which is built with a multi-agent architecture where a conversational assistant handles data analysis, modeling, visualization, preparation and coding through specialized sub-agents working together under a central coordinator. Furthermore, the platform features built-in governance and security with strict data access controls and oversight mechanisms that allow businesses to manage costs, reduce errors and maintain regulatory compliance in an evolving AI landscape as well as open portability and developer tools supporting Apache Ossie compatibility to ensure company definitions are portable and not locked into Zoho, allowing developers to leverage headless Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and command-line interfaces to embed smart agents directly into external workflows.
By bringing data analysis, business context, AI insights and automated agent workflows into a single system, Zoho Analytics enables organizations to turn raw data into confident, actionable business outcomes.
