Airtel Nigeria has officially introduced its new “Open Network” feature, designed to empower customers with direct feedback capabilities and improve overall network coverage.

Airtel Nigeria has launched a new customer-focused initiative called the Airtel Open Network feature, designed to give subscribers a direct voice in identifying network gaps and enhancing telecommunications services across the country.

The digital tool moves beyond conventional customer care approaches by inviting everyday users to actively participate in monitoring and shaping network performance.

The new feature allows customers to submit real-time reports regarding mobile coverage, data speeds and call quality directly to the operator.

To use the service, subscribers simply open the MyAirtel mobile application, navigate to the dedicated Open Network tab and log their live experiences. Airtel noted that this crowd-sourced data will provide engineering teams with precise local insights, helping to guide infrastructure upgrades and target network enhancements where they are needed most.

By building a stronger channel for collaboration between the telecom operator and its customers, the initiative aims to foster greater transparency and deliver faster, more reliable connectivity across Nigeria.
